The Alcan Winter Rally is the longest, coldest rally in the world and one of the last great motorsports adventures.  In the spirit of the historic marathon rallies, the race covers over 5,000 miles (8,050 km) in 10 days, starting in Kirkland, WA, and travels north of the Arctic Circle before heading south to Anchorage, AK, for the finish.  With up to 700 miles covered in a single day on the frozen roads of the north, the teams encounter -40° temperatures, long days, wildlife, ice roads, little sleep, and life-threatening risks.  Can the teams complete the challenge, or will their adventure stop short?
